In 1996, Pam Feinberg-Rivkin, founded a Catastrophic Case Management business in Michigan for individuals who sustained catastrophic auto and workers’ compensation injuries. As a Registered Nurse since 1977, Certified Rehabilitation Nurse, Certified Case Manager, and Senior Disability Analyst, as well as Florida Qualified Rehabilitation Provider, Pam has an array of health care experience including: Rehabilitation Nursing, ICU, Med-Surgical, Renal Dialysis, Multiple Trauma, Utilization Review, and Telephonic Case Management. Over the ensuing years, Pam has continued to hire additional case managers to meet the needs of catastrophically injured clients and those with developmental disabilities including catastrophic injury management, life care planning, chronic disease management, and most recently comprehensive elder care management. Expansion to Florida and Ohio has occurred in recent years to serve the catastrophically injured and elder care in those states.
Pam assisted in the development of the Michigan Case Management Society serving as president in 1996 and is the current ticket chair for the Michigan Brain Injury Association Legacy Dinner and Auction. Professional affiliations include: Case Management Society of America (National and Detroit Chapter), Brain Injury Association of Michigan, Michigan Brain Injury Providers Council, Rehabilitation Insurance Nurses Council (RINC), Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Midwest Chapter Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Detroit Chapter Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Florida Chapter Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Southeast Michigan Geriatric Social Work Network, Michigan Society of Gerontology, Aging Society of America and Palm Beach County Partnership for Aging.
The growth that Feinberg Consulting has achieved since 1996 demonstrates the effectiveness and objectivity of the Feinberg Consulting Case Management team. Effective October 1, 2009, Pam initiated a mentorship program to further bolster the quality of work. Veteran Case Managers provide mentorship for newly hired case managers in their training with Feinberg Consulting. This fosters the professional growth of the case managers to ensure the highest quality of case management services to Feinberg Consulting clients and customers.
